yay, it's May!

These pics are all from Riley's class field trip to Post Family Farm. We had to prepare for rain, and it ended up doing so! It's ok though, we had a covered hay ride and still had a lot of fun learning what happens on a farm! I was glad I could go along since I don't get to be involved much with Riley's class.

Right before the hay ride. We learned that we were sitting on straw, not hay. Straw is for animal bedding, and hay is what the animals eat! Fun facts:)

This little calf was 20 days old! They were so skinny! I'm sure they'll fatten up soon.
