We decided to head out to Holland to enjoy the beautiful evening.  We had a picnic, built a sand castle and watched the boats.  Of course we had to stop by Captain Sundae.  A great evening out at the beach!

Busy Spring

 It has been a busy spring with Baseball, Soccer and Girl Scouts.  Noah got to play catcher for the first time.  Good thing he had the protective gear on.  He caught a foul ball off his head. 

Riley had a year end program for Girl Scouts.  She earned 3 badges this year.  She really enjoys it. 

Noah's birthday--and more

Mr. Noah turned 6 on April 28!!  It's hard to believe he is that old already and will be starting 1st grade in the fall!  We had a nice day and got to celebrate most of it outdoors!  He is showing one of his gifts he got....some goggles for grandma's pool!

Here is a pic of Riley on the day she had a tea party for girl scouts.  They went to a historic home in Grand Rapids and got to see and hear about what it was like a hundred years ago!  She is looking more like a young lady and not my widdle girl anymore! (sniff)

I had to post this action shot of Noah running to first base.  He is one of the littlest boys on his team and sometimes the batting helmets are a bit on the big side and need to be held on to tight or it may just fly off!  We are thoroughly enjoying watching him play-and he just loves it!

Baseball

 Tonight was the opening night of baseball.  Noah did a great job in the outfield and although he went 0-3 he hit the ball all 3 times.  He even tried to slide into first base to beat the throw.  He did great!

Boys

We are in the process of trying to potty train Graham.  He has the right idea just the wrong "bucket".

Noah and Graham like to rough house with each other and Dad.  Graham is starting to hold his own against his big brother.

It's been pretty fun and eventful at the Britton's lately!  Riley turned 8 and had her first sleepover with a friend!  I took the girls to see The Lorax in 3D.  We set up a tent in Riley's room and the girls slept in there-they thought that was a ton of fun!  We had a birthday party on a Sunday with family.  The day was gorgeous!  I don't think we have ever had birthday cake and presents outside before for Riley's birthday!  Oh, we also went to Steak and Shake for Riley's birthday supper ON her birthday.  It's becoming quite a tradition. 

Today my mom and I took the kids to an Easter egg hunt at a local church.  There were plenty of eggs and there was also face painting:)  Riley got an Easter egg on her cheek and Noah got a bunny face!  It is so gorgeous outside!  We are thankful for this time of year when we can reflect on the sacrifice Jesus made for us!  Thank you Jesus!!  Happy Easter everyone!
